Our pricing is based on: 


  • The cost of materials supplied by 786 Electricals Ltd (charged as trade plus 25%)
  • The time spent committed to your electrical works

We don’t believe in a call-out charge

  • The minimum charge is the amount listed within the first hour.
  • Labour is then charged within half an hour segments thereafter.
  • The time starts from when we leave to attend your job. Usually, the average travel time is 20 minutes.
  • We often operate in 2 person teams. This can either be two electricians or an electrician and a mate which speeds up jobs.
  • Parking charges will be applied if needed.
  • All estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
  • All estimates with materials exceeding the value of £100 will need to be paid in full prior to works starting.

Landlord Electrical Safety Certificate on Change of Tenancy

The Electrical Safety Standards in the Private Rented Sector (England) Regulations 2020 require electrical installations in rented properties are inspected and tested by a qualified and competent person at an interval of at least every 5 years. It is recommended by the NICEIC and the Institute of Engineering and Technology that a further check takes place between tenancies.
